Frequently Asked Questions
A compilation of questions that are asked frequently, for your reading enjoyment
Who makes all of the orders?
I do. I'm currently a team of one, and will continue to be a team of one until I feel that I need to offset some of my responsibilities. I can't wait to expand and keep growing!
Do you accept interns?
I'd be willing to consider it. Please send an e-mail with resume to maggie@maggiedelena.com
Do you have a store?
I do not currently have a retail location.
When will my order ship?
It depends on the time of year and how many orders I have in the pipeline. Since I make everything myself, turn time can vary from 2 weeks up to 7 weeks. If you have a specific date you need your garment for, please reach out to me and I'll let you know if I'm able to meet your deadline. Sometimes a rush fee will be involved.
Can I borrow your clothing for a photo shoot?
I don't carry much inventory, since 90% of the garments I make are made to order. I sometimes have a few styles available, and would require a credit card deposit in order to send garments for a shoot. Feel free to send an e-mail if you have a pull request.
Do you send free clothes to models?
Not usually. At all. I don't really have the time to make free garments for models when so many people are waiting for their orders. Please see above about borrowing clothing for a shoot, if you would like to be considered.
Do you offer your clothing wholesale for retailers?
At this current time, I do not. However, I am always open to inquiries and offers. Please e-mail maggie@maggiedelena.com for consideration.
Do you offer a wishlist?
Unfortunately my website does not have wishlist capabilities for models to share with fans, however, I do offer gift certificates, which are a great alternative! And yes, gift certificates can be used towards custom orders. Check out the Gift Certificate section of the website!
How do I care for my latex garment?
I include a very extensive printed care sheet with every order. If you'd like one e-mailed to you, please feel free to reach out and I will send it to you via e-mail.
What shine do you recommend for latex?
The shines I sell in the "Shine" section of the website. Pjur Cult Shine, BeGloss, and Vivishine are my favorites.
Do you offer repairs/alterations?
Absolutely! You'd be surprised what can be repaired and altered. Unless your garment is so old that it is disintegrating, most latex tears can be repaired. Send me an e-mail with photos and I'll evaluate and quote: maggie@maggiedelena.com
What is your return policy?
I've added an entire section on returns in the drop down menu of the "About" section, named "Return Policy".
